1ST EVENT
(In memory of Kevin Lord)

Friends & Family:

I'm sure by now, you all have probably heard about the "Charity Fundraising Dance In Memory of Kevin".

When our daughter. Lindsay approached us and said she wanted to do this, we were totally in support. We thought, not only what a wonderful idea, but also how courageous and caring she is organizing such an event, especially, at this time, being almost a year since Kevin passed away on April 29, 2006.

Her idea to make the fundraiser in support of the Muskoka-Simcoe Cancer Care Centre at the Royal Victoria Hospital was great. The hospital was very appreciative and are totally supporting the event. They provided a letter endorsing the event, requesting support and sponsors and also have listed the event on their website http://www.rvh.on.ca/Home.aspx?PageID=220&mid=_ctl0_MainMenu__ctl1-menuItem011-subMenu-menuItem003-subMenu-menuItem000. I have attached a copy this this letter as well as a copy of the announcement.

The dance is being held at the Beeton Arena, in Beeton, downstairs in the arena area, as we are confident and hoping for a very large attendance. In closing, it will surely be a great evening and I am personally inviting each and everyone one of you to attend and celebrate Kevin's memory. Your support, not only for our family, but for such a worthwhile cause to" help bring cancer care closer to home", would be truly appreciated.
