2016 JUNIOR TEAM CANADA
2016 - SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND
NTBHL PLAYERS TO EXPERIENCE THE ULTIMATE COMPETITION
Ten players from the New Tecumseth Ball Hockey League (NTBHL) will reach the pinnacle of the sport this summer as they represent Canada at the ISBHF World Ball Hockey Championships. They will experience the true Team Canada feeling in Sheffield, England on July 3rd when they meet their teammates who will travel in from across Canada.
They will spend 3 days practicing and bonding with their teammates before going to battle on July 6th.
They will follow in the footsteps of 30 other NTBHL players since 2004 that have gone on to represent Canada at this competition which has been hosted in various countries such as Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and the Czech Republic. A Gold is never guaranteed as other countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the USA have proven in past years that they have great programs and always attract the best players this sport has to offer within their respective countries.

The path to the World Championships is mainly through competing at the CBHA National Championships where players need to prove themselves to the scouting staff during the event. In 2015 the CBHA Junior National Championships (U15, U17, U19) was in St. John's, NFLD where 22 teams competed representing 7 Provinces. Players that do get selected will no doubt have earned their stripes and should be very proud to make their way onto one of the three Team Canada rosters (full rosters are below)
We've asked each of the NTBHL players to answer a few questions in order for us, and you, to get to know them better and we'll feature each player for a period of time on our web site between now and the World Championships. We thank them for their cooperation as they answered a few questions, of course, mostly related to hockey. The following NTBHL players are members of Team Canada for 2016:
