Twenty NTBHL players to represent Canada at the
 2018 ISBHF World Junior Ball Hockey Championships.

 

The U16 Boys and U20 Girls divisions will take place in the Czech Republic in the towns of Prerov and Zlin from June 28th to July 1st.

Canada will host the U18 and U20 Boy's divisions in St. John's, NFLD from July 4th to 8th.

These players continue the tradition of the NTBHL supplying players to the CBHA Team Canada program. Kevin Lord and Robert Crumbie were our first players selected to the JTC program back in 2004 with the event in Martin, Slovakia. The Junior World Championships have been hosted in various countries such as Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and the Czech Republic.  A Gold is never guaranteed as other countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the USA have proven in past years that they have great programs and always attract the best players this sport has to offer within their respective countries.

The path to the Junior World Championship is through the CBHA National Championships where players need to prove themselves to the scouting staff during the event. In 2017 the CBHA Junior National Championships (U15, U17, U19) was in Kitchener, Ont. where 23 teams competed representing 7 Provinces.
