2013 WOMEN'S C PROVINCIAL SILVER MEDALISTS

The NTBHL Women’s team bring home Silver in the C Division of the Provincial Championships this past weekend in Kingston. The team was undefeated throughout the tournament with their only loss during the Gold medal game in overtime, 2-1 to Kitchener.

Scores during the round robin portion of the event were as follows: 5-0 win over Cornwall, 2-2 tie with Midland, 1-1 tie with Oshawa. Quarter-final win over Brampton 4-0 and a Semi-final win over London 3-1.

Congrats to all team members!! this was the best performance ever by the NTBHL Women's team who outscored their opponents 16-6 during their 6 games on the weekend, and with a bit of luck would've brought home the Gold as they outplayed Kitchener in their final game.

Thanks to Shaun Gannon, Adam Patton and Kaelan Gannon who spent many hours in the selection, preparation and coaching of the team during the course of the summer, and of course to Debbie Stark who managed the team during the entire process and to Mardo Worry who served as team trainer.

The players and staff should be Xtremely proud of their performance during the weekend......as the team has an exciting future ahead of them!!!
