 Thank you Jimmy for taking care of us all these years .....JIM MOORE: MAY 22nd 1955 – APRIL 4th 2021
With a heavy heart and deep sadness we want to pay tribute to Jim Moore who we're sure all our NTBHL family have seen around the arenas and probably stopped to chat at one point or another. We learned that Jim passed on April 4th, it's hard to believe we won't see his constant smile in the lobby during ball hockey anymore.
Jim has been around the ball hockey rinks for as long as we can remember taking care of us at the Beeton Arena for many many years and most recently at the Alliston Memorial. He was always ‘on call’ and made himself available to help us out in emergency situations. We could not thank him enough for what he’s done for our management team in helping us provide ball hockey to the community, in addition to the friendships he has built with us and the members of the NTBHL.
His love for his family was evident in all conversations and he was very much part of our family. He was a ‘grandpa’ type figure around the rinks and watched so many of the kids of the NTBHL grow up into fine young adults.
Jim….thank you so much for your support and patience over the years and your willingness to go over and above the call of duty and most of all, for being our #1 fan. We firmly believe you love the sport of ball hockey as much as we do. Thank you for greeting all our members as they enter the lobby with a smile and a silly joke and building all the relationships you did. I know I will miss my ‘Hey Carlito’ greeting you gave me every time I entered the rink.
At this time we’d like to send our condolences to Jim’s family..….thank you for sharing such a wonderful person.
RIP Jimmy, you will be deeply missed by all of us.
