What an amazing way to spend a beautiful Fall day at Alliston NTRC.
For the past few years NTBHL families put together teams to play in the Princess Margaret/Scotia Bank Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer Event in Toronto. This year when they found out they event was canceled, Leah and Sean Armstrong from our NTBHL family reached out to the organizers to let them know that Covid wasn't going to stop this group of parents from fundraising for their cause. So they pulled together, under Covid rules, enough kids to play against themselves instead of other teams from other communities.
They event had CTV news come out to spot light their event and Domino's Pizza gave a discount to feed the hungry players. I'm sure we have all been touched by cancer in one way or another so PLEASE if you're able to, click on the link below and help Leah and Sean reach their $2000 goal.
