NTBHL players to represent Canada at the
2019 ISBHF U16 World Cup
The U16 Boys and U18 Girls divisions will take place in the Czech Republic in the towns of Ceska Trebova and Litomysl from June 27th to 30th.

These players continue the tradition of the NTBHL supplying players to the CBHA Team Canada program. Kevin Lord and Robert Crumbie were our first players selected to the JTC program back in 2004 with the event in Martin, Slovakia. The Junior World Championships have been hosted in various countries such as Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and the Czech Republic.

The path to the U16 Junior World Cup is through the CBHA National Championships where players need to prove themselves to the scouting staff during the event. In 2018 the CBHA Junior National Championships (U15, U17, U19) was in Fredericton, NB where 24 teams competed representing 7 Provinces.
Canada will supply 2 teams to this event, East & West.
