NTBHL WOMEN PLAYERS TO EXPERIENCE THE ULTIMATE COMPETITION
Two players from the New Tec Ball Hockey League (NTBHL) Womens Division will reach the pinnacle of the sport this spring as they represent Canada at the ISBHF World Ball Hockey Championships. They will experience the true Team Canada feeling in Pardubice, Czech Republic on June 1st 2017 when they meet their teammates from all across Canada.
Giuliana Pallotta and Devon Skeats were scouted at the Womens A CBHA National Championships in BC last summer where the NTBHL represented Ontario. They competed against 7 other highly competitive teams from across Canada.
They are the first from the NTBHL’s Womens Division to represent Canada in this competition.
We are extremely proud of their hard work and dedication to the sport. They are excellent representatives of our Community, the Womens and Girls Ball Hockey Programs and the sport!
As you can imagine, there is a heavy burden on players to fund their way to these tournaments. Stay tuned for fundraising events to participate in and help these young women realize a dream! Donations and Team Canada sponsorships are also very welcome! Just contact an NTBHL Exec to find out more.
Updates will be posted on the NTBHL.CA website as the event draws closer with game times and viewing links, as there will be many back home here watching and cheering for Team Canada and our girls.

The path to the World Championships is mainly through competing at the CBHA National Championships where players need to prove themselves to the scouting staff during the event. In 2016 the CBHA Women's National Championships was in Richmond, BC where the NTBHL represented Ontario and were 1 of 8 teams competing at the event. Five provinces were represented and players that do get selected will no doubt have earned their way on to the Team Canada roster.
