CBHA U17 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

The U17 New Tec Xtreme capped off an undefeated weekend in St.John's, NFLD with a nailbiting 2-1 victory over the Toronto Withrow Park Knights to claim the National title. The Xtreme started the event with a 1-1 tie against the BC Thunder then defeated the Oakville Rangers 4-0, then wrapped up the round robin with a 7-3 victory over the host Newfoundland Selects. The Edmonton Extreme were then the opponents in the semi final with New Tec coming out on top with a 2-0 win which set the table for the Championship game with our fellow Ontario representatives. It was an amazing weekend and our thanks go out to the coaching staff of Brent Sallows, Clay Birkett, Doug Livingston and Brad Johnson. The roster included the following players:
